August Update

Beckett is 9 months old:

He weighs 20 lbs 9 oz

and is 28.5 in long

Just a big boy

He has 7 teeth, is crawling everywhere (mostly still army crawl) but he's fast

Pulls up on everything, wants to do everything Brother does

Hot Air balloon Festival:
The boys liked this a lot, especially Camden ( Mommy too)
next year Cam and I plan to ride in one :)

Camden loves baseball:
Daddy has worked really hard to get this kid to like Bball, and well its worked
He loves it when Daddy pitches to him and he gets to run the bases and Daddy chases him.

And he's getting good at hitting the ball- yeah!

Dinosaur Fir & Ice exhibit at Crown Center:
Camden loved this- dinosaurs everywhere, ones to look at and ones to play with.. too cool.

Beckett in some KU gear:

before he grows out of his shirt (it's kind of snug )

No hands:
hands are overrated according to Beckett- he loves to put his toy balls in his mouth and carry them around or just play with another toy while they are in his mouth...weird ...we know but it's pretty cute!

Sporting KC game:
It was our first game- and it was great!
Entertaining for all. Cam is really into soccer right now- so he thought it was really cool how high the players could kick the ball. And Beckett loved all the stuff going on.

Cam loved when Sporting got a goal- the flags waving and blue streamers shot up in the air- pretty cool

Cam was really having fun- just over the camera....as always ;) love him

Deanna Rose:
We all love the farmstead of course
Cam got to feed all the animals and Beckett got to watch...luckily he loves to do that :)

See Happy baby

These baby goats were crazy hungry- they were eating Camdens shirt and Justins shorts ...so they had to move to the outside of the pen to feed the goats.

Then Cam was just teasing them...which one should I feed.... haha

And of course he rode the pony

Well more August to come- and Cam starts Pre-K....

July Update

The summer has just flown right by-
so here are some updates from July:

Beckett turned 8 Months old

And he started to pull himself up in his crib

July 4th:
Everyone was a fan-Camden LOVED the fireworks, he was sure to tell us
what color every firework was- it was pretty cute! He would even jump up out of his chair and yell.
Beckett was also entertained and enjoyed watching them for awhile.

We also got a special surprise: A text from Uncle Neal and Aunt Marci- Baby Demi Sue was born while we were watching Fireworks!! Yay! And welcome to the world!

Brother love

The Aquarium:
Nene and Kaylee were in town so we thought we would go visit the KC Aquarium for the first time- it was a hit. Everybody enjoyed it.

Camden got to touch some of the certain sea life - he thought that was cool

Swim Lessons:
Beckett was in baby swim lessons where I got in the water with him- he loved it!

Camden and Sarah

Camden on the other hand, didn't love it. He likes the water, but when he had to practice swimming, put his face in the water, go under water, go down the stairs....ok well pretty much anything except play.... he cried.

But by the second week he was doing much better- Yay!

Ear Tube:
Finally this ear tube is falling out.
if you look really hard in this pic- you can see it.
We did end up having to go to ENT to have it removed- and have to go back in 2months just to make sure everything is good.

And that sums up July.....pretty much

Beckett update

Woowzers! I think I say this every time, but I feel like time is flying by sooo much faster with baby #2- it's not fair :(

Here's chubs - being just adorable.
Well let's see what's going on in his world:
(since I haven't had time to blog in a looonnnggg time)
He weighs over 19 pounds now.... yep about what a 1 year old weighs :)
He loves to eat- finally figured out how to swallow his baby food and likes it.
loves cantelope, honeydew, peas, sweet potatoes.
Hates green beans, peaches, pears.
And he also has 5 teeth- and apparently likes to chew on his crib

So after finding multiple slats in his crib destroyed- he earned himself some bumper pads.

He started to crawl- well army crawl- but he is fast!
We now have baby gates up everywhere.

He just recently got his first haircut (june 28th) sniff sniff
I didn't want to have to do it so early, but his hair just kept blowing in his eyes all the time,
so we just trimmed it. They cut about 1 1/2 inches off. He instantly transformed into a big boy.

The little boy is just amazing and I love hime to pieces!
He's so fun. You forget how quickly they grow and learn- I feel like he's learning quicker too, maybe b/c he has Camden to watch and play with. Having these 2 boys in my life is the best blessing ever!!

Becketts first eye exam

Well at 6 1/2 months old Beckett got his first eye exam. Yep... by the best eye doctor out there....Daddy :) It went great- his eye are perfect- right where they should be right now.

Big brother Camden went along, he thought he would do a few eye checks on the doc before he checked out Beckett's eyes. What a good Big Bro, already watching out for little Bro

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!!
We went to Lawrence and spent the day with the Weigels and family.
Always great to see everyone! Camden is pure entertainment for everyone-
