Belly/Baby

I have plenty of things I would love to update you all about,
but this baby and Camden are kind of taking up alot of my time-
so at least here are a couple of recent pics.

My belly that doesn't seem to stop growing
(at least I'm half way there)

The latest pic of our new little man

Best Buds

I don't have many pics of Camden and Nathan
where they are both actually looking at the camera-
so here ya go.
These boys love each other like brothers-
it's too cute!

Salina

Cam and I went to Salina for a super short/ super fun trip.
We got to spend some great time with Cam's Nene and Papa
and also got to see his cousins-
"the girls" as he calls them.
We miss these little girls tons-
they all had such a great time!

As you see in the pics- the girls are little models
and Camden wants no part of sitting still,
smiling,
or looking at the camera

San Diego- Day 3

Day 3
We started our day heading to the San Diego Zoo
Camden loves animals, but as we learned from the day before-
he's not one to sit back and watch -
he likes to play
It went pretty well, little fits here and there, but overall- good

First big stop- Elephants
Camden is very into Elephants right now-
one of his fav movies is "Horton hears a Who"
So anyway we spent a good 30 minutes watching the elephants.
The trainers came out to feed them and Cam thought that was awesome!
He will tell you that they eat Carrots and lettuce- it's too cute!

(Then we napped of course)

And as soon as he woke- we headed to Legoland.
Justin and I had never been there before and we both thought it was great!
We really went there for the waterpark for Camden
(b/c he loves water so much)
He had a blast and would have stayed longer if we let him :)

Imagine that....Daddy and Cam on the slides
These slides were much faster than the ones at the other waterpark-
so Justin had to go down with him-

Practicing swimming :)

There was breaktime at the the pool and Cam wanted a snack-
So Daddy got him an ice cream cone
(it was banana and it was delicious)

Mommy and Cam

Peek-a- boo
I really can't express enough
how much this child loves the water :)

He even had a blast running thru little sprinklers

An elephant made completely of legos-
I know I know we're at Legoland
and everything is made od legos,
but it was really neat to see all the displays

A BIG sucker to end a wonderful day!

San Diego- Day 2

Day2

Cam woke in a great mood-

so we all got ready and headed to Seaworld.
I was really excited to go and see the shows
(this trip was not about what I wanted-Camden ran the show)

At Seaworld we went to 2 shows- 1 dolphins and the other Shamu.
I liked them, Justin liked them, but Camden did not.
He sat on the ground and would barely
even look at the shows- not sure what was going on.

He did peek up to watch one show a few times- and we were able to catch some smiles

(made for a rough start to the Day)
Once we got moving he was alot happier.
He got to see Nemo and Dori- which he loved,
and the penguins were probably his favorite (at Seaworld).
He called them all "Wheezy" (from Toy Story).

Back to the resort for naptime.
Then when he woke it was off to a water park to play.
Sometimes I think this boy was supposed to be a fish-
b/c he absolutely LOVES the water (or wok-er) as he calls it.

He played and played and played.
I think he went down the slide a hundred times-
It was closing time and he still didn't want to go.
We all dried off and went to get dinner-

Went to Hodads- a hamburger joint recommended to us.
we got it to go and took it to the beach and enjoyed the sunset :)

(this pic got deleted...sorry- I will re-post)
Mommy and Camden- man I love this kid!

Our beautiful Sunset for our little family dinner :)

San Diego

What a great family vacation!
We definitely learned a few things about traveling with a toddler.
We did so much a I of course took sooo many pics-
that I'm going to break it down into each day.

Day1
Camden didn't really enjoy waking up at 4:30 am,
but he did great- he even slept on the plane for a bit.

The flight was at 6:30- and these guys are so happy

Naptime- and yep he's still a thumb sucker- but luckily he only does it when he sleeps

Movie time!

Had to put this pic in- we had a layover in Las Vegas-
Camden's first time playing the slots :)
He really did think it was a game for him to play

When we arrived in SD, got all our luggage (you have alot with a toddler), and
got the rental car- we headed to the resort.
The plan was to let Cam nap, but our room wasn't ready-
So we decided to hit up the beach (that way if he got to fussy- it wasn't such a big deal)

I thought he would love playing in the sand and water, but
to my surprise- he hated it! It took him 45 minutes to even step into the sand.
But once he did- he loved it! he was then off running and playing in the water too.

Once we got him to walk in the sand- it took a bit to get him to go in the water-He didn't want it to touch him :)

backing up

and backing up some more.

<
We finally decided that he was just going to have to do it- so here's how it went- Mom dangling him over the water :)

Not to long after he was running and playing- ahving a great time!

We got back to our room and tried to lay him down to rest- and of course that didn't work- it seems like once you've skipped naptime then it's game over. So we all got ready to go eat at a mexican restaurant that was recommened to us. It was good and a fun experience, but little man was getting tired. So we headed back. On the way to the resort Camden asked for me to hold him and said that he wanted out- (these are things he doesn't do in the car). I climbed in the backseat just in time to catch vomit.....lovely. Poor little man was so tired (maybe a little car sick) that he just couldn't help it. Got to the room, bathtime, washed a carseat, and had laundry done.

Everyone went to bed early that night- Cam woke up feeling great- his usual little firecracker self.
